State Bank of Pakistan issued on 30 September 2022 its new banknote of 75 rupees (PKR75.1) commemorative of the 75th Anniversary of Independence.

Originally intended to be printed on polymer substrate, it was finally done on cotton paper. A total of 100 million pieces were issued.

The front shows the images of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Mohtarm Fatima Jinnah, Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The back, designed by young artist Sara Khan, shows the national animal, the Markhor, and the National tree, the Deodar.
