Banco Central de Nicaragua informed yesterday 16 September 2023 the release of improved banknotes of 50 córdobas (NIO50.6B) and 200 córdobas (NIO200.2B) of the Serie 2022.

While the main designs remain unchanged, tactile marks to aid the vision impaired, and a translucent band in the back and several other security features have been added.
