The Board of Directors of the Banco Central de Honduras decided yesterday to issue a new banknote of 200 lempiras (HNL200.1)  commemorative of the 200th Anniversary of Independence.

The motifs of the new banknote, to be issued in the third quarter of 2021, are the Independence commemoration, promotion of Education and protection of the Environment.
