2009 
2014 
There are minor differences between the 2009 (CRC10,000.2A) and 2014 (CRC10,000.2B) versions of the 10,000 colones banknote.
The most visible in the 2014 version are:
the neck in the watermark portrait is lighter,
the inscription “Serie A” in the front is lighter,
the cartouche with “BANCO CENTRAL DE COSTA RICA” in the back is darker.
