The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority unveiled on 12 October 2023 the previously announced banknote of 70 dollars (KYD70.1) which honors both the 70th Platinum Jubilee and the First Anniversary since her death.

The new banknote shows in the front the Queen’s portrait, Cayman Islands Arms and the Royal Cypher. In the back it has three different portraits of the Queen, and the commemorative mention.

A total of 10,000 banknotes were issued. These are sold at face value, only at the offices of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, with a limit of 10 notes per person.
