The Central Bank of Zimbabwe is ready to issue more “bond notes” as soon as it finds a 500 million dollars line of credit to back them. The first issue of 170 million “Bond Notes” in November has not been sufficient to alleviate the cash scarcity in the local economy. At the moment Bond Notes are being traded at 1.20 per U.S. dollar.
