The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates presented today its new banknote of 50 dirhams (AED50.7). It is printed on polymer substrate, and the first denomination of the Third Family of notes.

The front shows the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the memorial picture of the founding fathers after signing the union document., and the Martyrs Memorial. The back Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan signing the Union agreement and the Etihad Museum.

This banknote will be released to circulation in the near future. Central Bank of the UAE.
