The National Bank of Ukraine has decided to revise the design of the new banknote of 2,000 hryvnia (UAH2,000.1). The cursive font on the top left of its back is not the original Cyrillic version of the Bickam Script. The one used is an unofficial knockoff by Russian designer Alexandra Gofman.
It is not known whether there are already notes printed with the problematic legend. Its original release date is 4 September 2026.
