The National Bank of Ukraine is completing its new family of banknotes by the issuance of new ones of 50 hryven (UAH50.4) on 20 December 2019, and 200 hryven (UAH200.3) on 25 February 2020.

In the process of optimization coins of 5 and 10 hryven will be gradually replacing the current banknotes of the same denominations.

All current banknotes, included those to be replaced by coins, remain in circulation.
