The Trans-Dniester Republican Bank announced today that it will issue of on 19 October 2026 a new banknote of 100 rubles (TDR100.3) of the 2025 improved family.

This new banknote maintains the original motif, size and watermarks of the previous notes, but the design has been modified and new security features have been added, like microtext, luminescent elements and a QR code linking it to the homepage of the issuer’s webpage.

The text of the announcement seems to indicate that there will be other denominations of the 2025 series to be issued.

The notes of the same value dated 2000 (TDR100.1) and 2007 (TDR100.2a and TDR100.2b) will remain current, and will be replaced when they become unfit for circulation.
