The Czech National Bank announced today the issue in March 2026 of a new banknote of 5.000 korun (CZK5.000.2) commemorative of the Centennial of the Czekoslovakian koruna and the 30th Anniversary of the Czech koruna.
It will have several advanced features, among them a unique holographic overlay, a logo for the events and two micrographics intended for observation on a microscopic scale.
The note is intended for general circulation.
