The Central Bank of Myanmar clarified today that the new commemorative banknote of 20,000 kyat (MMK20,000.1) to be issued at the end of the month will only be available at its main office in Nay Pyi Taw, and the Yangon and Mandalay branches. It can only be obtained against presentation of same value in unfit banknotes, with a limit of three notes per person.
