Bank Al Maghrib presented a new banknote of 100 dirhams (MAD100.7) and a silver coin of 250 dirhams to commemorate the 35th edition of the CAN-2025 Africa Cup of Nations organized by the Confederation of African Football which started yesterday 21 December 2025.

The front shows the portrait of King Mohammed VI, the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex and a stylized football. In the back we see an inside view of the Sports Complex, stars and a group of footballers. The name of the bank is spelled in Arabic in the front, and in Latin and Tifinagh characters in the back. 

A limited quantity will be issued.
