
Bank of Mongolia has announced today the release of a new banknote of 100,000 tugrik (MNT100.000.1) commemorative of the Centennial of the introduction of its national currency, the tugruk.
The front shows the portrait of Genghis Khan. The back honors the People’s Revolution.
Although it is dated 2021 the back has a hand applied stamp with the date 2025-12-09.
It has many advanced security features.
