The Central Bank of Liberia launched yesterday 1 September 2022 a campaign to familiarize the public with the new banknotes which are to be issued soon.
The new denominations will be those of 20 dollars (LRD20.3), 50 dollars (LRD50.3), 500 dollars (LRD500.2) and 1,000 dollars (LRD1,000.1).
The banknote of 100 dollars (LRD100.3) of the same family was already issued in December 2021.
