The Banco Central de Honduras issued this Monday August 13 improved banknotes of 50 (HNL50.4), 100 (HNL100.3) and 500 lempiras (HNL500.3).

All are dated 28.12.2016 and their main difference with the previous notes are: 

HNL50.4   The building in the back is different from the one in the previous issue. It is printed by PWPW S.A.

HNL100.3   The design of the front is different, it has the value in front printed on OVI. Printed de Crane Currency

HNL500.3  The design of the front is different, it has the value in front printed on OVI and a wide segmented security thread. Printed by Oberthur Technologies.
