Banco de Guatemala has issued this week an improved banknote of 100 quetzales (GTQ100.4) dated 15 March 2023. 

It is printed by G+D Currency technology. Its design is very similar to that of the previous notes, but it has a color shifting security stripe with dancing images and several images printed on UV light on both sides.

Previous versions of this denomination continue to be legal tender.
