The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has announced that new Ghana cedi notes will go into circulation next week Monday, December 2, 2019.
According to the First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Maxwell Opoku Afari, although the new Ghana cedi banknotes became legal tender after the launch, commercial banks will start picking up the new banknotes from the BoG on Monday.
