High quality forgeries of the current polymer 20 pounds banknotes (GBP-BoE20.5) are being passed in Spain.

A local Bureau de Change reports the these forgeries have the following characteristics:

1. The substrate is rigid, feels different to touch, and does not fold easily;
2. It does have an excellent holographic seal;
3. It does have the UV printing in the front.

These forgeries are not recognized be many of the counting machines, even some of the advanced ones.
