The Czech National Bank will issue on 8 February its new banknote of 1,000 korun (CZK1,000.2) commemorative of the 30th Anniversary of the Czech National Bank and the split of the Czechoslovakian kórun into the Czech and Slovak versions. 

The new banknote shows the commemorative logo and the adhesive stamp or overprint applied to indicate which old Czechoslovakian notes will be valid in the Czech Republic.

A total of 200,000 notes will be printed and will be available at the main office and branches of the Czech National Bank as of 8 February, with a limit of 5 pieces per buyer.
