When the current gulden notes issued under the name of the Bank van de Nederlandse Antillen will be replaced in the second half of 2024 by those denominated in Caribbean dollars, issued by the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten, they will co-circulate for three months. After that they will be redeemable at commercial banks for one year, and by the Central Bank for 30 years.

The redemption will be made subject to the rules applying to money laundering and fight against terrorism.
