The printing of the new family of polymer banknotes was executed by two firms, Orell Füssli for the 1,000 (CRC1,000.5) and 10,000 colones (CRC10,000.3); and Oberthur Fiduciairie for the 2,000 (CRC2,000.3), 5,000 (CRC5,000.3) and 20,000 colones (CRC20,000.2).
