The National Bank of Cambodia has issued today a new banknote of 20,000 rials (KHR20,000.3) which will co-circulate with the previous ones of 1995 and 2008.
The issuance of this new banknote was announced by a sub-decree signed today by Prime Minister Samdech Akak Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, to mark the 65th Birthday of King Norodom Sihamoni.
It measures 155 x 72 mm, the dominant colors are light pink, dark pink and brown, and it shows the portrait of the King in the front, and the Banteay Srei Temple in Siem Reap province in the back.
