The Central Bank of Bolivia presented yesterday 4 August 2025 its non denominated note commemorative of the Bicentennial of Independence.

The front shows the portraits of Simón Bolívar, Antonio José de Sucre, Tupac Katari, Bartolina Sisa, Juana Azurduy, Alejo Calatayud, José Manuel Vaca (Cañoto) and Eustaquio Méndez.

On the right it shows the paraba barba azul (Ara glaucogulari,) The window on the left shows Mount Illimani, the Uyuni salt flat and the Bolivian river dolphin (Inia boliviensis).

The back depicts the “Casa de la Libertad” in Sucre and the Toborochi tree (Ceiba speciosa.)

This is a numismatic product without face value. It is printed on polymer substrate. A total of one million pieces were produced. 

These may be obtained at the counters of the Central Bank of Bolivia at the price of BOB50 (= USD7.24 at the official rate) up to 31 August 2025.
