The new $10 banknote features birds of Belize imagery, along with portrait of the Hon. Philip Goldson, national hero of Belize.

The new $20 banknote features Belize’s jungle life imagery, along with portrait of the Rt. Hon. George Cadle Price, national hero of Belize.

The new $50 banknote features archaeological attractions of Belize imagery, along with portrait of the Hon. Philip Goldson, national hero of Belize. 

The Central Bank of Belize has issued yesterday, 4 August 2025, its new family of notes.

Numismatic sales to foreign persons who do not have a local bank account are not permitted for the time being.

Current notes continue to be legal tender “for the time being.“
