The Central Bank of the Bahamas announced today that it will issue on 15 December 2022 the improved “CRISP” Evolution version of the 10 dollars banknote (MRI10.7).

It is dated 2022, resembles its predecessor, with the exception of the color, which has changed to predominantly grey to better distinguish it from the CRISP Evolution $1 banknote released in 2017. Like the recent $50 and $100 banknotes, this $10 banknote is printed on Landqart’s durability-enhancing Durasafe® substrate, and incorporates Crane’s RAPID® HD Detect thread alongside other newly embedded security features. The portrait of Sir Stafford Sands has received slight enhancements, as have other features, such as the yellow elder flower on the front of the banknote and the lighthouse and flamingos on the back.

This, as well as other banknotes of the CRISP evolution family can be verified using the “CBB Banknote MAP”, which can be downloaded from the Apple App and Google Play stores.crisp eVOLUTION
