The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has announced today that it will issue on 15 July 2026 an improved banknote of 100 manat dated 2026 (AZN100.3).

It incorporates the following state-of-the-art security features: color-changing hologram with a three-dimensional micro-mirror effect; ‘Spark Flow Prime’ element (a color-changing manat symbol emitting a dynamic light effect); watermark (the State of Arms of the Republic of Azerbaijan and denomination visible at light); tactile element (lofting is felt when touching certain parts of the banknote; for people with vision loss), vertical design (following global trends in banknote production, the banknote’s reverse has been designed in a vertical format); security thread; intaglio printing; micro texts, etc.
