The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe is circulating this announcement with the pictures of the new banknote of 2 dollars (ZW?2.1) and 5 dollars (ZW?5.1)
The main differences with the 2016 Bond notes is that the word “BOND” is omitted, and that the new notes do not have the segmented security band.
According with the information available these are the issues to be issued:
1. A bimetallic coin of 2 bond dollars,
2. Banknotes of 2 and 5 dollars, and
3. Banknotes of 100; 200 and 500 dollars.
