According to an article published by Al-Ayyam, a number of containers with new banknotes of 100 riyals (YER100.5) arrived to the port of Aden. Sources at the Central Bank confirmed that n0 notes of 2,000 riyals are being planned at the moment, and that pictures of such note circulating in the social media are not real. Current contracts call for more notes of 200; 500 and 1,000 riyals to be delivered in the first quarter of 2019.
