“Egyptian Banker” published yesterday andarticle in which the Central Bank of Yemen based in Sana’a denies issuing new currency, claiming that they have not released any new banknote.

The article shows this image of a 500 rials note (YER500.4) dated 2026 which obviously must have been issued by their rivals, the Houtis based in the North.
