The National Bank of Ukraine announced today that the banknotes of 50 hryven of 2003 (UAH50.3) and 200 hryven of 2007 (UAH200.2) will be put on a “one way” traffic. Banks are instructed to withdraw them when deposited or paid in.

Both notes continue to be legal tender.

In January it was announced that the issue of notes of 2.000 hryven (UAH2,000.1) and 5.000 hryven (UAH5,000.1) is under consideration.
