The Central Bank of Tunisia announced today that it has released to circulation new banknotes of 5 and 50 dinars.
Their details are:
5 dinars (TND5.8)
Size 143 x 73 mm Dated 20.3.2022 Color: green.
Portrait of agronomiste Slaheddine el Amami / Roman aqueducts of Zaghouan.
Its security features include a “RAPID HD” 4 mm segmented security strip, with a seal with a dinamic 5 moving when the note is tilted, and an Optical Variable Ink seal on the front, and a SparkLive translucent bar on the back.
50 Dinars (TND50.3)
Size 158 x 79mm Dated 20-3-2022 Color: brown.
Portrait of Hedi Nouira, member of the Tunisian National Independence Movement, and first Governor of the Central Bank / Central Bank of Tunisia building.
Its security features include a “RAPID HD” 5 mm segmented security strip, with a seal with a dinamic 50 moving when the note is tilted, and an Optical Variable Ink seal on the front, and a SparkLive translucent bar on the back.
Both notes have a post impression protective varnish coat.
