The National Reserve Bank of Tonga announced the launching of a new family of notes tomorrow 4 December 2023.

All will have the portrait of King Tupou VI in the front.

1. TOP2.7           2 dollars  Brown and light green.  Whale.  Printed on paper.
2. TOP5.7           5 dollars  Purple.  Allegory of the enigma of the ancient Ha’amonga ‘a Maui Trilithon. Printed on polymer.
3. TOP10.7       10 dollars  Light bluish violet.  Princess Angelika Latufuikepa Taku’aho performing the kava ceremony. Printed on polymer.
4. TOP20.6      20 dollars  Olive.  National Reserve Bank of Tonga building.  Printed of paper.
5. TOP50.4      50 dollars  Green. St.  George Government building.  Printed on paper.
6. TOP100.3  100 dollars  Pink and light green.  Tonga’s Royal Family and Royal Palace.
