Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has extended the term to redeem the previous series of banknotes (PHP5.1), (PHP10.1), (PHP10.2), PHP20.1), (PHP50.1), (PHP100.1), (PHP200.1), (PHP500.1) and (PHP1,000.1) until December 29, 2017. 

Note of the Editor: These notes were demonetized on 31 December 2016, but obviously there were so many people presenting them after that date, that the Bank decided, to its credit, to extend the time limit.
