Bakary K. Jammeh, Governor of the Central nk of The Gambia, announced today that within two or three months completely new banknotes of 5 (GMD5.6),10 (GMD10.6), 20 (GMD20.3), 50 (GMD50.5), 100 (GMD100.5) and 200 dalasis (GMD200.3) will be issued.

The new banknotes will show the different faces of The Gambia and its natural resources. These will not have the portrait of former President Yahya Jammeh.
