The Central Bank of The Comoros has announced that it has issued yesterday new banknotes of 5,000 (KMF5,000.3) and 10,000 francs (KMF10,000.3.)

They are dated 2025 and have the same portraits of the previous notes, with a different layout.

The new notes will cocirculate with the previous ones issued in 2006.
