William Lai, Taiwan’s President, said that he will push to put in the 500 yuan note the National baseball team who for the first time beat Japan in the Premier12 championship.

The current note of 500 yuan (TWD500.3) shows the baseball team of Taitung County Nan Wang Elementary School who won the 1998 Little League World Series.
