The Government of St. Helena has unveiled their new polymer banknotes with the portrait of King Charles III.

It is not clear whether these are already in circulation. Media messages reported that the notes had arrived before the end of 2025, but no details are available about their release to circulation.

The denominations are 5 (SHP5.3), 10 (SHP10.3) and 20 pounds (SHP20.3.)

Older paper notes and Bank of England polymer notes remain in use as legal tender.
