According to an article in ABNews published in January the release to circulation of the new polymer 100 rubles (RUB100.6) may happen very soon. The current situation with Ukraine may delay it.

The article signed by Alexandra Mezentseva inform the they issue may happen “in the coming months or even weeks”. 

This note will be issued in a limited way, to give banks the opportunity to set up their cash handling equipment.
