To add to yesterday’s posting, here are the photos of both varieties of the Ulster Bank 20 pounds banknote (NIR-UB20.3), where the one on the left dated 22 February 2020 shows that the note is an obligation of Ulster Bank, while in the newer one on the right, dated 1 March 2021, it is National Westminster Bank plc the one making the promise to pay.
It is possible that the older notes, if these were ever printed, will not be released.
