The Czech National Bank announced yesterday the issue of a new banknote of 100 korun (CZK100.5) commemorative of the Centennial if the opening of the National Bank of Czechoslovakia.

This bank was created after World War I as a successor to the Austro-Hungarian Bank after the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

It shows the image of Vilém Pospíšil, its first Governor in the front, and its building in Prague.

This note completes the set of three notes issued to commemorate this event, and are issued in limited quantities, priced at a premium.
