

Nepal Rastra Bank has revealed the first denomination of the family of notes, the 100 rupees (NPR100.8B) dated 2024 with modified map in the background at the center of front.
The new map include the areas of Lipulekh, Kalapania and Limpiyadhura, which are being contested by India.
Nepalese banknotes used to be printed in India, but because of this dispute the new ones are being printed in China.
