Bank of Namibia has today unveiled a new banknote of 60 dollars (NAD60.1) in honor of late President Hage Geingob, who died last year. The face value of 60 Namibia dollars refers to his 60 years of political activity.

The note will be released in two weeks in a limited quantity.

It was also informed that Bank of Namibia plans to issue in June an entirely new family of notes.
