Banco de México announced on Monday that the new banknote of 100 pesos of the “G” family (MXP100.8) will be released to circulation in the second half of this year.
It will show Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz in the front, to represent the Colonial period.
The Monarch butterfly Biosphere Reserve, located between the Estado de México and Michoacán, will be in the back.
