The release of the 1,000 new ougiya note (MRU1,000.1)  has been delayed, to give the public time to get acquainted with the new notes, and avoid confusion with the old ones of 1,000 ougiya (MRO1,000.1) (MRO1,000.2), which are now worth only 100 of the new ones.
