The Banky Foiben’i Madagasikara will issue the new notes of 20,000 (MGA20,000.1); 10,000 (MGA10,000.2); 5,000 (MGA5,000.2); and 2,000 ariary (MGA2,000.2) on July 17. The smaller ones of 1,000 (MGA1,000.2); 500 (MGA500.2); 200 (MGA200.2) and 100 ariary (MGA100.2) are due to be released on 18 September.
