DNA India has published an exclusive report about the Reserve Bank of India planning to issue new 1,000 rupees banknotes INR1,000.2), presumably of the same style of the recent ones of 200; 500 and 2,000 rupees. According to their information the printing facilities of the RBI have ceased printing notes of 2,000 rupees, to produce those of 1,000. The release date is estimated to take place in December.
