The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced today that tomorrow the three issuing banks, Bank of China, Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and Standard Chartered Bank will release to circulation the new banknotes of 1,000 dollars (HK-BoC1,000.4), (HK-HSBC1,000.4), (HK-SCB1,000.5).

Those of 500 dollars (HK-BoC500.4), (HK-HSBC500.4), (HK-SCB500-5) will be released open January 23.
