The States of Jersey is inviting graphic artists and the public to present designs to be used in the creation of a new family of notes to be issued in 2027.

It is the first time in more than 30 years that Guernsey changes its banknotes design.

The denominations of 1; 5; 10 and 20 pounds will be issued. Notes of 50 pounds will be designed, these may not be printed because there is not great demand for them.
