Along with the new banknotes of 100 and 200 cedis (GHS100.1 and GHS200.1), Bank of Ghana started to issue today 2 cedis coins to eventually replace the banknotes of the same denomination issued between 2010 and 2017 (GHS2.1A and GHS2.1B).
